How was my pig raised? Your pig was raised on clean pasture and wooded forest where they were free to roam about as they pleased. Your pig got plenty of sunshine, lots of fresh air and a bundle of TLC. What your pig did not get was any inhumane treatment, drugs, growth stimulants, or steroids. We use only all natural, old-fashioned methods to ensure that your pork will be unsurpassed in taste, tenderness and nutrition.
What quantities are offered? We offer pork in increments of one half. Order 2 halves to get a whole.
What can I expect? Pork is sold in increments of one half. From your half, you can expect to get approximately 90 to 145 pounds of finished meat. Typically, you can expect about half of your order to be in roasts, chops, shoulders, etc., and the other half in sausage and bacon. You can also request the marrow/soup bones and organs at no addition cost. Since we only offer the best, our seasoning does not contain MSG or nitrates. However, you can choose to have your sausage unseasoned.
What will be my final cost? Pork is $5.00 per pound based on the hanging weight plus an approximate $85 processing fee per half. You can expect your final cost to be approximately $600 to $700 per half.
When will my meat be ready to pick up? We "estimate" it will ready the first of July.
Where do I pick up my meat? Pick-up will be here at the farm.
Is there a Deadline? Absolutely: As soon as the last pig is sold
Okay, how do I get my reservation in? To place your reservation, you must first submit a deposit of $150 per half. If you want a whole, reserve two (2) halves. You can submit your deposit by clicking on the PayPal button below.
