How was my pig raised? Your pig was raised on clean pasture and wooded forest where they were free to roam about as they pleased. Your pig got plenty of sunshine, lots of fresh air and a bundle of TLC. What your pig did not get was any inhumane treatment, drugs, growth stimulants, or steroids. We use only all natural, old-fashioned methods to ensure that your pork will be unsurpassed in taste, tenderness and nutrition.

What quantities are offered? We offer pork in increments of one half. Order 2 halves to get a whole.

What can I expect? Pork is sold in increments of one half. From your half, you can expect to get approximately 90 to 145 pounds of finished meat. Each half is cut to your specifications, and we are here to help you through the process to ensure satisfaction. Typically, you can expect about half of your order to be in roasts, chops, shoulders, etc., and the other half in sausage and bacon. Since we only offer the best, our seasoning does not contain MSG or nitrates. However, you can choose to have your sausage unseasoned.

What will be my final cost? Pork is $4.50 per pound based on the hanging weight plus an approximate $75 processing fee per half. You can expect your final cost to be approximately $450-$750 per half.

When will my meat be ready to pick up? Pickup will start real quick. There will be numerous p/u opportunities. We will send an email notifying you of the pick up options.

Where do I pick up my meat? You will have an option of picking up your meat directly from the processor, or with your permission, you can pick up your pork order here at our farm at dates to be determined later.

Is there a Deadline? Absolutely: When the last pig is sold! In order to ensure each pig gets all the sunshine, fresh air and TLC it needs, we must limit how many pigs we raise each year. So, be careful! While you're thinking about it, those who have ordered in the past are grabbing up the few we have.

Okay, how do I get my reservation in?  To place your reservation, you must first submit a deposit of $75 per half. If you want a whole, reserve two (2) halves. You can submit your deposit by clicking on the PayPal button below.

Note: Please provide us with your normal email address if you use a different one for your PayPal account.

Frequently asked questions:

  • Why is your pork more expensive than what is at the store? The real question ought to be: "Why is the pork in the store so cheap?" The short answer is that factory raised pork at the store is priced at exactly what it is worth! If you buy food based on it's quality, nutritional value and taste – our pork is cheap. However, it goes much deeper than that. One of the reasons conventional food is so cheap is that it is mass produced without any concern as to the quality of the food or the welfare of the animal. The industrial goal is to produce cheap food – not all natural quality food (can't have both)! Our focus is on quality. Thus, we spend a lot of time working toward this goal. Quality doesn't come cheap. It involves a lot of labor to produce a system that will promote healthy growth in animals. We do not cut corners on anything to achieve this end.

  • Will my pork have any nitrates or MSG? Absolutely not! In fact, no preservatives of any kind are used.

  • Is your supplemental feed Non-GMO?: All our supplemental feed is both "certified" nutritionally dense and is "certified" non-GMO.
