We are committed to providing you with nutritionally dense, great tasting, naturally and humanely raised chicken meat. That requires: bio-active soils; a smorgasbord of green, vegetative grasses and clovers; bugs and worms; and fairly mild temperatures.
Here in North Alabama these conditions are at their best from late spring to early fall. Thus, our chicken season starts in April and goes through October of each year.
Keep in mind that "all natural" means just that. A pasture raised baby chick would not be able to survive in our cold, wet Alabama winters. Not only would they be unhealthy from sickness, it would be downright inhumane.
The reservation process starts in May of each season and goes thru October. We process/sell only one week in each of these months.
When we send out the invitation to place a reservation we will include pricing, pick up dates, and other important info that you will need to make your decision.
