 Beef
Grass-fed, Pasture-raised

It’s an investment in You.

Why buy from Goose Pond Farm? This is real beef... We know what we’re doing! This is the only way we’ve been raising beef for the last 25 years, so we haven’t just jumped on the bandwagon of the grass-fed craze.

We are the grass-fed experts!

Great taste, nutritional density and good health start in the soil and works it’s way through the grass. Calves that eat healthy grass (raised in healthy soil) are healthy and that, in turn, provides you with good, clean, healthy food. All of this is so you can have the best. Why settle for less??

Our beef is raised on lush pasture with lots of fresh air and a bundle of TLC. The way nature intended it to be. This beef is fresh, locally raised, delicious and produced in a way that is humane and friendly to the animal, our earth and you.

Your meat will be delicately aged and then cut into gourmet quality steaks, tender moist roast, and delicious burger. All your meat will be wrapped, labeled, frozen and ready for your freezer.

How is the beef sold? Beef is only sold by the quarter, half or whole.

Why do you only sell in bulk? Click here to learn more.

Okay, I'm interested. What can I expect from a quarter?

It is important to understand that we’re not dealing with machinery here. We allow each animal to be all natural, uniquely different. Thus, different animals will cut-out differently. What you actually get will depend on many factors; one of which will be the size of the calf. However, the same size animals can and will produce different results.

Below is a rough approximation of what you can expect to get for each quarter you purchase.
There are two options available:

Option #1: This is our most popular option. With this options, you can expect to get approximately 75 to 100 pounds of freezer meat per quarter.

Steaks: (All steaks will be cut 1 1/4” thick.)
  3 to 4 Rib steaks
  4 to 5 T-bone steaks
  3 to 4 Sirloin steaks
  3 to 4 Filets

Roast: (All roasts will be 3# to 5#)
  2 to 3 Chuck roast
  2 to 3 Shoulder roast
1 to 2 Sirloin Tip Roast
  1 to 2 Rump roast

Beef-burger: Between 30 to 40 lean one pound packages.

You can also request for us to save the marrow/soup bones and organs at no addition cost.

Option #2: The steaks listed above and beef-burger (no roast). This is a great option for couples and those with small families. However, this is going to be a risky option for most of you. This option does not reduce the amount of meat you will get. However, removing the bone and most of the fat really reduces the volume you get. This option will give you the premium steaks and the best premium beef-burger ever. There is nothing like this at any store anywhere!

What will be my cost?  Based on the past, you could expect to pay in the "range" of $700 per quarter. However, your exact price will be determined once we have taken the calf to the processor and have the actual hanging weight.

Humane treatment: There is more to treating animals humanely than giving them a cute name like Bessie. Click here to learn more.
